The new year makes us all a little nostalgic. So, we decided to take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of the biggest things to happen at Barn & Willow last year. From partnering up with a major retailer to three big giveaways and more, here’s a look back at some of our most memorable moments of 2019.

1. We began selling our drapes and shades at Anthropologie.
Our friends at Anthropologie are no strangers to chic, quality textiles and home furnishings. That’s why it’s no surprise then that in 2019—for the first time ever—the brand started selling drapes and Roman shades courtesy of Barn & Willow. Available in multiple styles and seven different Belgian linen and organic cotton fabric colorways, you can now order Barn & Willow drapes and Roman shades directly from Anthropologie.
2. We had three major giveaways.
In May 2019 we hosted The Mother’s Day Makeover Giveaway—our first one ever! Totaling over $2,500 in prizes, one lucky winner received $500 in organic bedding from Coyuchi; $500 in custom window treatments from Barn & Willow; $500 in custom furniture from Interior Define; $600 in design services from Decorist; and $500 in custom art from Saatchi Art.
Summer 2019 saw our Staycation Giveaway, where we awarded over $1,700 in prizes to help someone turn their home into a resort they’ll never want to leave! In addition to $500 in custom window treatments from Barn & Willow, we gifted one winner with $500 in product credit at The Citizenry and $500 worth of luxury cotton pajama sets from Sant and Abel, as well as $250 towards an experience from IfOnly.
Lastly, in October, we showered one lucky winner with over $1,500 in prizes for our Holiday Ready Giveaway. Along with a $500 Barn & Willow gift card, our winning contestant received a full design package plus a $350 merchandise credit at Havenly, a Sanibel Spruce Tree worth $469 from Balsam Hill, and a copy of The Lonny Home, Lonny’s guide to cultivating a gorgeous and thoughtful home.

3. We launched our first hardware collection.
2019 also marked the release of Barn & Willow’s very first line of hardware to complement your drapes at home. Handcrafted by artisans in Suffolk, England, the easy-to-install collection of chic curtain rods is available in an assortment of sleek finishes—think Brushed Stainless Steel and Flint Satin—with five different styles of decorative finials including Stud, Disc, Squat Disc, Ball, and Faceted to boot.
4. We released a line of velvet fabrics.
Finally, we introduced the world to our luxurious line of velvet fabrics in the fall of 2019. Composed of an easy to clean material with a thick weave and heavy drape, our velvet fabrics come in four elegant colorways, including Teal, Sapphire, Beige, and Pearl, and make an excellent choice for anyone looking to add sumptuous texture and color to higher spaces in their home.
