I don’t know about you, but when replacing my old curtains and draperies, it always feels like a shame to toss out the old ones. After all, they’re made of yards of perfectly good fabric! Well, we’ve got you covered, with 5 different ways to help you salvage your old draperies.

- Use it elsewhere
If you’re not up for a big DIY task and still adore the fabric you used, just put your old draperies somewhere else! You can make them into a room divider or even a shower curtain with the help of a plastic liner. (via jenna burger)
- Spruce up your couch

- Reupholster your chairs
Re-covering your chairs couldn’t get any easier. With no sewing required, all you need is a screwdriver, scissors, and a staple gun. This tutorial from HGTV explains everything perfectly. (via HGTV)
- Put it on the floor
If you have a drapery panel that’s already lined, arm yourself with a stitch remover (to remove the pleats and hooks) and you’ve got yourself a floor cloth! - Dress up your dinner table
