It's only a few more days until Christmas, and then in a week, it's New Years! Have you been too busy to decorate? Not to fear - we've got the easiest way to help you get your home in the holiday spirit - just add some evergreen! (And yes, maybe we were inspired by Pantone's color of the year...)

December is synonymous with evergreen trees, like pines, spruce, or firs. While you don't necessarily need to go all out with a fully decorated Christmas tree, spruce cuttings or other potted conifers are an easy way to immediately bring in the December cheer. Stop by any Christmas tree farm, or even your nearest hardware store - they've got some fresh offcuts that you can typically pick up for free.
Want to make a larger impact? A lovely garland from the nearest craft store would add the perfect pop of green to any home. Choose to leave it plain, or be like Monika Hibbs and add a few pinecones and ribbons for a sweet stairwell decoration.

Are you more minimal? A sprig of pine above your bedroom headboard can add the perfect touch of cheer to your bedroom!
Of course, when talking about greenery, you can't forget the wreath! Anissa from House Seven recently remodeled her new home, and added our Belgian Sheer Linen draperies in Oatmeal to her windows. When decorating for the holidays, you don't need to replace everything - even minor touches, like the tiny wreath hanging in the window (and the garland on the fireplace), can make a difference!

Likewise, A Thoughtful Place decked her blue and white breakfast nook with a wreath hanging from her windows (complete with our Belgian Flax Linen Roman Shades in Optic White) and a plaid pillow. Those presents hiding under the bar cart definitely help too!
